Education and learning is a gift. My 5th grade teacher always said to be a life long learner and earning my MBA was a significant effort in my adult life. This degree has helped me to understand business and decision making in key ways that greatly impact my day to day.

I am a Certified Scrum Product Owner and member of the Scrum Alliance. Learning Scrum methodologies and Agile frameworks has allowed me the ability to find the most optimal timeline structures and breakdowns of work. I believe that knowing the long term vision while working on short term goals is the key to continuous improvement.

 

Accomplishments and Skills

Selected as employee of the month for IT at T-mobile, a fortune 500 company with over 700 IT employees at the time.

Implemented and migrated new work tracking systems to streamline requests and organize backlogs. Systems include Azure DevOps, Monday, AirFocus, and Redmine.

Decreased software deployment cycles to increase number of changes introduced per year using Agile methodologies.

Managed the most complex accounts to ensure success for the business and the client.

Found ways to automate processes to reduce the workload and increase quality.

Determined the root cause of complex problems and implemented solutions to delight stakeholders and clients.

  • BenefitElect

    BenefitElect is an HR benefit enrollment software that enables employees to easily manage their benefits.

    I have served as DevOps Engineer, Release Manager, and Business Systems Analyst at BenefitElect.

    My responsibilities include: Managing the backlog, organizing releases, deploying code, supporting clients, collaborating on details of system changes, and quality assurance.

     

  • Mt Bachelor

    Mt. Bachelor is a ski resort that is part of the Powder Corporation. My title was Business Systems Analyst, but I had project management responsibilities as well.

    My duties at Mt. Bachelor included POS system configuration, project management for sister resorts for implementation of new systems, process creation and integration of project management software.

  • StrideBox

    StrideBox was a running subscription box. I served as the Office/Operations Manager.

    Oversaw the shipment of thousands of subscription boxes monthly, managed eCommerce sites, managed customer service, and helped with any needs that might come up in a small business environment.

  • GL Solutions

    GL Solutions is a government licensing software to manage licenses like Dentists, real estate agents, contractors, etc.

    I roles included Business Systems Analyst, Account Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager.

    I managed a team of 10 employees, configured SAAS software and managed new implementations, and worked with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

  • T-Mobile

    T-Mobile is a world-wide telecommunications provider and fortune 500 company.

    During my time at T-Mobile I was a Project Coordinator and Business Systems Analyst.

    My duties included: Software testing, release planning, business and technical requirements documentation. I was a subject matter expert in activation systems.

    Bend-La Pine Schools as the Business Systems Architect working with the Payroll and Time Management systems.

    Moda Health Insurance in Medical Customer Service.
